The new system includes a voice assistant that helps you find music. But the real draw is a 27mcp connector that links "any" external AI model to your setup. Sonos isn't locking you into someone else's technology.

You can ask ChatGPT to play music in your home, for instance. Sonos also teased Custom Agents, which will have their own personas as they perform multiple tasks. The Sonos 27 app arrives with "more intuitive," community-shaped navigation.

The Ace Ultra's most-requested feature

The Ace Ultra brings a feature fans have demanded since the original Ace arrived: connecting your headphones to your Sonos network. A new headphone linking feature, coming in Early Access this fall, lets you move audio from your headphones to your speakers and back—even if your phone is nowhere nearby.

Imagine blaring a hot new album around the house, then pushing it to your over-ears to keep things quiet at night. Linking doesn't work with the original Ace models. Sonos says the feature requires the Ultra's new hardware.

Under the hood, the Ace Ultra packs Sonos-made 40mm drivers and 10-microphone active noise cancellation, up from eight.

The Beam Ultra soundbar

The Beam Ultra completes the lineup, integrating seamlessly with the new Sonos 27 ecosystem. Both devices signal Sonos's commitment to an open, AI-driven audio experience.
